Our events rooms, located on the first floor of our Grade II listed building, are perfect for a range of events including business meetings, workshops, baby showers, children’s birthdays, anniversaries and even bridal showers. Our management team will work with you to plan your special day or event, leaving you to relax on the day and get on with business or enjoy your special occasion stress free.
Please note, we have the following available times for room hire (per room):
12pm to 2pm (decorate from 11.30am)
3.30pm to 5.30pm (decorate from 3pm)
We charge £40 room hire for the time slots mentioned above, which includes the 30 minutes prior to the event to decorate.
If you choose to have the room for both time slots, (i.e. 11.30-5.30pm), we charge £200 room hire.
We have 2 private rooms on our first floor:
Our larger room seats up to 30 guests, with over 40 standing (£300 minimum spend on food & drink).
Our smaller room seats a maximum of 12 guests (£160 minimum spend on food & drink).
For larger groups, both of these rooms can be used as they are joined through a door seating up to 52 guests with over 60 standing. This is a great option for anniversaries, birthdays and christenings where there tend to be a larger number of guests and buffet style food.
The entire tearooms (downstairs and upstairs rooms) can be also be booked for larger groups with a minimum spend of £600 on food and drink. This allows a large group to enjoy our Traditional Afternoon Tea, platters, a mixture of cakes or even dinner items (on request) with a glass of Prosecco or Champagne to celebrate.
We can also cater for events after hours such as Christmas dinners or workshops.
