Events & Private Hire

Our events rooms, located on the first floor of our Grade II listed building, are perfect for a range of events including business meetings, workshops, baby showers, children’s birthdays, anniversaries and even bridal showers. Our management team will work with you to plan your special day or event, leaving you to relax on the day and get on with business or enjoy your special occasion stress free.


Our first-floor rooms can hold a total of 45 seated guests with the whole building allowing seating for 70 guests. This allows a large group to enjoy our Traditional Afternoon Tea, platters, a mixture of cakes or even dinner items (on request) with a glass of Prosecco or Champagne to celebrate.


Room hire is free for 2 hours with a minimum spend of £300 including food and drink or £25 per hour for any additional hours or if hiring the room for a business meeting or small gathering. We can also cater for events after hours such as Christmas dinners or workshops.

Terms and Conditions for all events/private hire 

  • A £30 deposit is required at the time of the booking for any private room hire/event with £50 deposit taken for events taking place after our opening hours.
  • 48 hours written notice is required for any changes to the booking such as the time of the event, cancellation of the event, change of number of guests attending or any damage to the property and furniture. If less than 48 hours is given, full payment will be charged.
  • Our events rooms are free of charge for 2 hours (minimum spend £300) with additional hours after this time charged at £25 per hour.
  • Lunch & Afternoon slots available for all events. Please ask us for our availability.
